I’m Tim Baxter, a law graduate and putative RHD student in Environmental Law, particularly climate change law. I expect that this blog will eventually contain book reviews, essays and diatribes on policy.
This blog is an attempt for me to get writing down some of my ideas and learnings, to have them progress beyond half-finished notes which become meaningless 6 months later.
If there’s something you like here, please let me know, I’d love feedback, whether positive or negative.
One thing that must be said is that I am not a lawyer and at ABSOLUTELY no point should anything on this page be considered legal advice. If you need legal advice, contact your local legal referral service. Here in Victoria, that would be the Law Institute of Victoria. For free legal advice on environmental law in Australia, you might try any of the Australian Network of Environmental Defenders Offices member organisations.
Two things should go without saying, but I’ll say them anyway:
- Every opinion on this page is personal and does not in any way reflect that of any other employer/institution/etc.
- This is not my highest standard of work, so do not reference it in any academic setting. Mistakes will be made.
